How long does Huezy color last?
Semipermanent color usually lasts several weeks, fading gradually with every wash rather than all at once. Washing less often, using cool water, and finishing with a color safe conditioner all help the shade hold longer.
Will the color show up the same as in the photos?
Vivid shades show truest on hair that is already light or bleached. On darker or untreated hair, the same shade will show as a tone over your natural color rather than the fully saturated result in photos. Message us on WhatsApp before you order if you are not sure what to expect on your hair.
Do I need a patch test first?
Yes, every time, even if you have used Huezy before. Apply a small amount behind your ear or on your inner elbow and wait 48 hours before applying it to your full head. This is the only reliable way to catch a reaction before it affects your whole head of hair.
Can I mix shades myself?
That is exactly how our mixed shades came about. Combine our primary tones in different ratios to create your own custom color, once you are comfortable with how each one behaves on your hair.
How do I apply Huezy color at home?
Start with clean, towel dried hair rather than fully wet hair. Section your hair, apply with gloves on, and leave the color in for the time stated on your product. Rinse with cool water until it runs clear, and avoid shampoo for the first 48 hours so the color has time to set.
